Dieter

I think that maybe to the east would be fruitful. He whispers.

Einar, human Thief

Einar shrugs and raises the elven hood over his head, "So be it. I'll take a look around."

He stealthily makes his way along the eastern corridor, stopping on the northern edge of the wall so he can peer around the corner and look north.

Einar slips around the corner and looks around. Looking north he can see the passage twists east again and ends in a door.

(secret roll) He also notices a crack in the south wall as he is scouting, and traces out a secret door to the south in the eastern hall before the turn.

Furuk carefully moves forward east towards the end of the passage. He stands ready with his sword and shield while Einar inspects the passage and secret door.

Einar, human Thief

Einar points at the southern wall with his left hand, where he believes there to be a secret door, while holding out his right palm to signal for his companions to stop. He inspects the outline of the door and the floor in front of it for discernible traps, and then gives the wall a firm push in an attempt to open it.

While Furuk stands guard at the east, Einar searches the secret door for traps. (secret roll) He finds none but does find a catch that, once pulled, opens the door.

It opens to a narrow passageway that goes south and east. By the disturbance of dust on the floor, it looks heavily used. If you proceed down the hidden passageway, you will need to proceed single file.

Dieter

I think we may want to see where this goes. I would think... no, hope they did not trap their secret tunnels.

The open passageway leads to the south and east. You notice that it ends shortly at a door that is not so secret from this side, but probably secret from the other.

Einar, human Thief

Einar advances to the door on the far side of the passage. His intent is to lay ear to the portal and listen for activity on the other side.

Einar hears movement but no voices.
