Warhammer wizards are very colorful. There are 8 magical lores/colors of magic.

1)White
Light
Order of Light

Magic of illumination & holy radiance. Healing, protection, dispelling of Undead/Demons.

2) Blue
Celestial
Heavens
Celestial College

Magic of astrology, portents of the future, air & sky.

3) Yellow
Gold
The Golden Order
Metal

Magic of metal, alchemy, transformation.

4)Green
Jade
The Order of Life
Life

Magic of growth, life, earth, seasons.

5)Brown
Amber
The Amber Brotherhood
Beasts

Magic of animals & beastial spirits.

6)Red
Bright
The Bright Orcer
Fire

Magic of fire and flame.

7)Grey
Shadow
The Grey Order
Shadow

Magic of illusions & misdirection.

8)Purple
Amethyst
The Amethyst Order
Death

Magic of death & the passage of time.

Ive been thinking of coming up with some spell lists to reflect this for LL /AEC.
Kind of like "specialist" Wizards.

Possibly more to follow.
To defend: This is the Pact.
But when life loses its value,
and is taken for naught -
then the Pact is to Avenge.

The Lore of Light
Light Wizards
The Order of Light

Typical Spells:
Banish - dispells demons/undead
Blinding Light - temporarily blinds a large group
Boon of Hysh - heals wounds, diseases, poison
Clarity - cures ability damage
Cleansing Glow - cleans or purifies an item- makes spoiled food or water good again
Daemonbane - banishes a larger group of demons
Dazzling Brightness - dazzles/confuses temporarily
Eyes of Truth - sees through illusions, invisible ,disguieses,lies
Healing of Hysh - heals wounds
Ill- Bane - cures a disease or poison
Illuminate the Edifice - causes the entire interior of alrge room to glow with daylight
Inspiration - gives a bonus to a knowledge/skill check
Light of Purity - gives a bonus to resist diseases
Light's Demands - freezes demons in place, unmoving
Pillar of Radiance - creates a pillar of burning light
The Power of Truth - character becomes more convincing/persuasive/CHR bonus- but only if speaking the truth
Radiant Sentinel - creates a ball of glowing light that deflects attacks at the Wizard
Radiant Gaze - Wizards eyes shoot beams of burning light
Radiant Weapon - enchants a weapon with a bonus vs. Demons/Undead
Shimmering Cloak - creates a circle of light that deflects missiles

So those spells could be converted to LL/AEC. Also appropriate existing spells could be added- cure spells, continual light, etc,etc.
This Wizard seems a combination Wizard-Cleric.
To defend: This is the Pact.
But when life loses its value,
and is taken for naught -
then the Pact is to Avenge.

Celestial Wizard
The Celestial College

Typical Spells:

Birdspeak - can communicate with bird, bird-creatures
Clear Sky - clears clouds from the sky
Curse - minor penalty for 24 hours
Fate of Doom - more powerful curse
Finding Divination - helps find an item
First Portent of Amul - bonus or reroll
Fortune's Renewal - bonus to saves
Lens on the Sky - far-seeing
Lightning Bolt - yeah, what you think
Lightning Storm - more lightning bolts
Omen - divine possible future
Polish, Clean, Gleam - magically clean an area/items
Premonition - minor fortune telling
Project Spirit - travel in spirit form
Second Portent of Amul - 2 rerolls or bonuses to actions
Signs in the Stars - write a message in the stars of other Celestial Wizards to see
Starshine - darkness is dispelled, hidden things rae revealed
Windblast - people are knocked down, missiles cannot be fired
Wings of Heaven - flying

Very polished work amigo! I look forward to seeing them all. It's weird to see this as I was considering creating a colour coded batch of magic-users today, but I think I'll let you complete yours!

I was thinking:
Black - Corruption, Transformation, Change, Death, Alchemy : At their best they'd be flamboyant artists that alter themselves, at their worse twisted body sculptors that kidnap "subjects".

Yellow - Earth, Metal, Combat, Wealth, Stability, Order : I picture this as the school of noblemen, unmovable traditionalists, think the Great Wall of China built by the Emperor with his mind!

Blue - Water, Darkness [of the sea depths], Thought, Secrets, Stealth : Fluid ninjas that are always one step ahead and blackmail and kill their way to the top, perhaps control ice too, energy takers rather than all fizz-bang light-show about magic.

Red - Fire, Trickery, Illusion, Presence, Chance : Taking cues from Loki Liesmith and Prometheus, they'd be vagabond trickster-teachers, gamblers and fools that like to talk their way out of things, but can unleash fiery Hell if needed.

Orange - Air, Storm, Healing [breath of life as it were], Freedom [of movement], Fate : Peaceful monks for the most part, but only because no one wants to fight with a hurricane, lightening storm harnessing oracle of destiny!

Purple - Commandment, Summoning, Poison, Misdirection, Madness : Good old fashioned occultists that have seen too much, but most don't realise they're over the edge, when they summon things they'd crawl out of their mouths, all tentacles and spider-legs!

Green - Nature, Growth, Strength, [mastery of] Beasts, Emotion : Druids for the most part, with a little bit of stat boosts thrown in, more predators than tree huggers I imagine, I picture them covered in tattoos and piercings, little clothing or armour.

White - Light, Clarity [see magic, see invisible], Meditation [astral projection], Speed, [classical] Necromancy : Just as holy as most white magic users, these guys would be more like shaman of bokors, defenders of both the material and spirit world, they'd be able to talk to ghosts.

Grey - Utility [mage hand, magical mansion], Protection, Banishment, Purification, Dispelling : Witch hunting witches in Puritan get up, they would also have a number of simple, quick spells to get them through the day.

Thats... a lot of writing, sorry about that. :D

Warhammer wizards are the best. There's just something about the theme that really makes them stick, you know?
