baddies d6, 1, party d6, 5 Party has initiative
Einar (
autopilot) draws an arrow, nocks and fires (
d20, 8, MISS) but his shaft gets caught in webbing.
Dieter throws a dart at a webbed lizardman (LW4) (
d20, 8, HIT, dmg d4, 3) and hits.
Dandy (
autopilot) throws his hammer (surprise surprise) and (
d20, 4, MISS) the hammer doesn't make contact.
Furuk swings his sword at the nearest lizardman to the stairs (LW6) (
d20, 17, HIT, d8+3, 1+3=4) but in avoiding the webbing he doesn't cut as hard as he'd like.
Grimes swings his sword as well, moving to the next lizardman (LW2), (
d20, 14, HIT, dmg d6+1, 4+1=5) and hacks into him.
The webbed lizardfolk warriors continue to struggle and a few seem close to breaking their bonds.
As if in answer to
Dieter's comment about raising an alarm, the free lizardfolk (LWF) who ducked into the secret room, pops out with a crossbow and fires at
Grimes (
d20, 9, MISS) but the bolt ricochets off of the stout halfling's armor. The lizardfolk warrior is undaunted though and picks up another loaded crossbow and prepares to fire again!
