Making another LULU order- what to get?

Postby Blood axe » Tue Jul 12, 2011 2:16 am

So far I have:

Mall of Doom for Mutant Epoch by Outand Arts
Go fer Your Gun by Simon Washburn
Swords & Wizardry rules 4th ed.

What else is good? I like to order a few books at once to save on shipping.
To defend: This is the Pact.
But when life loses its value,
and is taken for naught -
then the Pact is to Avenge.

That "alphabet" thing seems to be popular. I just saw one for Vampires & Zombies at Barnes & Noble.

Other than all the big name clones (Osric, LL, S&W and Dark Dungeons), there's Encounter Critical and Dragons at Dawn.

I haven't read Dragons at Dawn yet so I can't really say if it's good, but it sounds interesting.

Wait, wait, wait. I hadn't heard of Dark Dungeons as an RPG until you mentioned it, inspiring some research. My only familiarity with Dark Dungeons is the infamous "D&D is Evil" cartoon. Is the name of the RPG intentionally taken to poke fun at that?

A sheer masterpiece destined to take its place amongst the greatest tomes ever written for or about fantasy gaming.

I might be a tad biased, however. :P

Hell ya. In fact, the play examples have some familiar characters in them.
