OOC: How many riders? Can we tell if they are human? I say we take a defensive posture and see what they want. Then we can kill them...

From here, it's hard to say. They're over a mile away, and moving quickly on horseback. At least half a dozen.

OOC: What do you say, guys? Perhaps we dismount and form up a defensive rank, make them think before they attack us. Tret could train an arrow on the lead rider, Jorg and Athelstan can draw our weapons and look super-angry and intimidating. Just an idea.

Tret, at the van, nocks an arrow and continues riding, although slowing his horse. He looks for escape routes and tries to judge the approaching men. He hopes the others slow down as he does...
