An old school map from Erol Otus from the old red basic book.

To defend: This is the Pact.
But when life loses its value,
and is taken for naught -
then the Pact is to Avenge.

The side-view map is nice (I hadn't realized that Erol Otus did cartography as well) but what I really like is the old-school map symbols. I still use them as the basis of my dungeon maps today - this page is the Rosetta Stone for so many dungeon mappers, it ought to be somehow put on display. Of course, I'm not sure what the copyright situation about that would be.
