Nighty night

You head to the top of the tower, Dieter stopping at the barracks to see if he can find more armbands (he does, adding three (3) to his collection at 100 GP each).

The "night" at the top of the tower is absolute. You can make out the island due to the torches on walls and whatnot, but the top of the cavern is high enough so as not to be seen, making it feel like a cloudy, moonless night.

Before bed, Dandy (autopilot, come back soon Sumo) touches those injured with his Staff of Healing: Grimes (d6+1, 5+1=6), Furuk (d6+1,2+1=3) and himself (d6+1, 5+1=6). He also casts Cure Light Wounds on the same three, twice on himself and Grimes: Grimes (d6+1, 6+1=7; d6+1, 1+1=2), Furuk (d6+1, 4+1=5), and himself (d6+1, 6+1=7; d6+1, 1+1=2).

You eat some food and settle down to sleep, using your usual watch -- which is easier by being on the tower and yet harder to keep awake during for the same reason.

(secret roll) As (most) of you sleep, Dandy comes and shakes you awake. There is a pounding at the door below as well as some harsh words in lizard-tongue. Waiting seems to take forever and then the noise stops. Einar peeks over the edge, cloaked, and peers down to see some lizardfolk warriors looking very upset. In the end they walk away.

Sleep is much more difficult after that.
