Sounds like a plan Dandy. Unsheathing his dagger he will stay behind the armored folks while he brings about the demise of the sleeping lizardmen.

Grimes gives a sour frown and says "I'm getting SICK of lizards. But not sick of killing em.'" He moves up to hold the line with Dandy, drawing his trusty sword of dismembering.

Furuk takes out his sword and rushes forward to attack one of the oncoming lizards.

Battle at the cave mouth

Initiative baddies d6, 1, party d6, 6 Party has initiative

Dandy throws his hammer (d20, 15, HIT) hitting the first lizardfolk warrior (LM1) (dmg d8+2x2, 4+2x2=12) and the lizardman crumples as his chest is crushed by the mighty blow.

Einar (autopilot) fires an arrow (d20, 10, MISS) missing the second lizardfolk warrior (LM2).

Dieter slits throats, killing the two sleeping archers.

Grimes waits for them to come to him.

Furuk rushes forward and attacks the second lizardman (d20, 2, MISS) but his sword is parried by a spear!

The lizardman (LM2) responds to Furuk's attack with his claw (d20, 15, MISS) and the claws screech as they glance off of the half-orc's armor!

Two more lizardfolk warriors, with their spears and claws, come out of the tunnel, hearing the cry of their friends, and you can see more lizardfolk archers setting up down the tunnel, ready to launch arrows at you. Behind them a darker one barks commands from the shadows!

One lizardfolk warrior is dead and the second is engaged with Furuk. None of you have been injured in this round. Next round there will be more in the melee.

Grimes rushes forward, not wanting Furuk to bear the brunt of the hand to hand assault. "I'm with you, brother! Let's take it to these dirty lizards!" Grimes will engage any lizards close to him/Furuk.

Seeing what is going on in the tunnel Dieter pull out his scroll of Wall of Fire. Reading it he will create a wall of fire from as far as he can see down the tunnel up to the entrance they now face (making sure his friends are out of range).

Initiative baddies d6, 6, party d6, 3 Lizardfolk have initiative

The lizardman engaged with Furuk presses his attack (d20, 5, MISS) but he can't find an opening.

Two more lizardmen warriors come in. One attacking Grimes, the other Furuk. The one engaging the halfling was apparently expecting someone taller (d20, 12, MISS) as his spear goes over Grimes' head. The second rakes at Furuk with his claws (d20, 2, MISS) but his companion inadvertently gets in his way.

Four archers attack, two targeting Dandy, one Dieter and one Einar. Two quarrels arc through the air at the dwarf cleric (d20, 6, MISS, d20, 14, MISS) but one glances off his armor and the other embeds itself in his shield. Dieter feels the shaft of a bolt through his cloak (d20, 9, MISS) as the arrow barely misses him. Luckily it does not disturb the reading of his scroll, as that would have disrupted his spell and wasted the scroll. Einar is not so lucky (d20, 14, HIT) and a crossbow bolt embeds itself in the thief's leg (dmg, d6, 6).

You hear the voice of the Darkling Captain barking orders in a language you are somehow glad you don't know and the voice seems closer than before.

Dieter reads his scroll casting Wall of Fire down the hall. The hallway lights up and the heat is searing. The four archers and the Darkling captain are caught in the wall of flames (dmg d6x5, 2, 2, 3, 3, 5). Dieter is locked on his spell, his hand raised, concentrating with all his might.

Dandy throws his hammer at one of the warriors (d20, 9, MISS) but his aim is off.

Einar (autopilot) fires an arrow, aiming at the new lizardman engaging Furuk (LM4) (d20, 15, HIT, dmg d6+1, 5+1=6) scoring a hit and making the beast howl.

Grimes swings his sword at his opponent (LM3) (d20, 20, CRITICAL HIT, MAX DAMAGE, d6+1=7, SPECIAL ATTACK: DISMEMBERMENT) and the left arm of the lizardman (LM3) flies off in a spurt of blood. The lizardman, not yet dead, is enraged at this!

Furuk (autopilot) stabs with his sword at his original enemy (LM2) (d20, 12, HIT, dmg d6+3, 3+3=6) tearing through his shoulder.

The smell of cooking lizardfolk fills the air and wafts out into the huge cavern behind you. The three warriors in front of the Wall of Fire are all injured (one missing an arm!), but one of yours is as well: Einar is badly wounded. But the battle isn't over yet!
