Caydon - Rogue
Caydon is not keen on the whole "python parlay" and keeps his hands near his weapons. He plans to launch his dagger and then draw his sword if the negotiations fail.

Tavin - Monk

Umm.... he will murmur as the negotiations proceed. Like Caydon, sword out and one hand on a dagger.

The snake looks back and forth at those talking. He cannot understand anyone but the druid, but he looks across with his great tongue flicking out. He appears to smile, hit teeth showing and great fangs apparent. His eyes fix on Rilo. That one would do nicely. I could let you search the whole room if I can have that one for lunch. He looks so tasty.

Thurwin - WIzard

Thurwin slowly backs out of the room. He's not sure what's going on, but snakes aren't something he's too fond of. "Tell him we have a nice juicy lizard down the hall that is much bigger than any other fare around or inside this place."

Effric, Druid

Effric slowly backs away as well, saying in a whisper to the group "I don't think this is working, I think it prefers live meals, it is eyeing Rilo. We should leave NOW..."

then, to the snake "We will return with a squirming feast fit for a snake of your stature!"

Once away to a safe distance, Effric will explain he has no intention of going back - some creatures are best left undisturbed - but he is not averse to a surprise attack with flaming oil and arrows/sling stones if everyone else wants to do something like that.

Tavin - Monk

Tavin will back out of the room. Not sure it's going to be passive about our exit.

Thurwin - Wizard

Thurwin sees the others backing out and says "Someone may want to grab some oil as a barrier just in case this ends poorly."

OOC: Thurwin will torch the oil if someone can prepare to toss some in the entry to keep the snake at bay.

Father Redmond is getting low on oil so he'll rather guard the rear this time. That said if no one else has any, he'll use some of his.

"Snakes are not worthy of any trust, even less giant snakes." says Calthas with a tone showing he disapproves the whole parley thing. He gets his bow, ready to use it at the first occasion.
