[Kickstarter] Guidebook to the City of Dolmvay Launches!

Kickstarter: Guidebook to the City of Dolmvay
The Guidebook to the City of Dolmvay is a Labyrinth Lord™ supplement for the Chronicles of Amherth™ campaign setting that details the people, layout, and government of the City of Dolmvay. The city was specifically designed to give Labyrinth Lords a convenient city setting to place their adventures.

The Guidebook will be largely Open Game Content and will be offered for free under RPGNow's Pay What You Want Program.. My goal is to provide professional and amateur publishers with a simple to use common city setting to publish their city-based OSR fantasy adventures.

Content
The Guidebook to the City of Dolmvay is packed full of useable content. The current book includes:

1. Map of the City of Dolmvay designed by Tim Hartin of Paratime Design
2. History of the City of Dolmvay
3. Overview of the Government (Banner, Power Structure, Military, etc.)
4. Overview of the People (Social Classes, Style of Dress, Customs and Attitudes, etc.)
5. Overview of the City Including Descriptions of:

  • City Districts
  • Sample Quarters
  • Sample Neighborhoods
  • Other Features (Bridges, Gates, Islands, etc.)
  • Interesting Locales (Taverns, Towers, Temples, etc.)
  • Shops and Businesses
  • Major Factions and NPCs of Note
  • Random Tables (Names, Shops, Random City Encounters, etc.)
All descriptions are painted in broad strokes and are designed to be easily adapted to your campaign. All NPC entries are fully statted for the Labyrinth Lord system.

Visit the Guidebook to the City of Dolmvay Kickstarter page now and help fund this ambitious OSR game master/publisher resource!

YEAH!!! $457 in two days! AWESOME!! Im glad you did not offer a lot of stretch goals. Many Kickstarters fall into that trap.

The project has been funded! I want to thank everyone who helped out through word of mouth and/or backing. I am pleased and even a little surprised by all the support. I'm writing up even more content as we speak so it should be packed full of (hopefully) useful bits. Can't wait to get this out there!

There is still plenty of time to reach the stretch goals and like I said in the listing, more funding = more art and maps to really make the product shine!

@blood axe - I didn't want to over reach myself given that this was my first go at KS.

I spread the word at the unseen Servant forum. I went to Dragonsfoot, but it was already there. :D

Now I need to figure out what NPC I want inserted for my $50.

I'm thinking of a mad cartographer named Dyson.

That's a cool idea! I was thinking a Dwarf mercenary named Blood Axe, named for the red axe he carries.
