Night falls on the vast exapnse known as Krakeland Marsh, as does the relentless drizzle, turning to rain now. It is quite muddy atop the hill, and the dim light afforded by the crescent moon reflects off the jet black stone tombs that encircle the area.
You find that the entire party & all your horses, mules etc can't all fit inside one of the vacated tombs, which measure roughly 10' x 12'. - so a hasty plan is concocted to stable the pack animals in a seperate tomb for the night. They begrudgingly enter and you fasten the door shut as best as possible. On your own tomb you secure the door once inside with a set of spikes.
Those that aren't on watch at the moment doze off quickly as you have had a long day of travel through the bog. On the 3rd watch as dawn approaches the group hears sounds of moaning coming from outside, but these pass as you decide whether to go outside in the dark rain to investigate.
Just before the break of dawn the rain appears to diminish from the sounds on the tomb's roof. At 6am you unspike the door and emerge again onto the soggy hilltop.
You can see around you now a bit more clearly. The structure on the taller hilltop to the west of you appears larger than the small tombs in your immediate area. A well worn, overgrown cobblestone path leads out from the north of your position heading Northwest onto the swampy forest.
Anyone down HPs gets one back which I will update. What are your next actions?
