ooc: @T-dice: Rules question. Is their a bonus for attacking from horseback?

No. In fact I usually do a dexterity check for any combat actions taken from horseback.

And in the Basic rulebook it says Filthy Traldaran Types get a penalty of 5 on each roll..

It's a gas when you decide that fumbles involve falling off your mount and then you need to roll for trampling and spooking the other horses.

Yes, just keeps getting better. First centaurs then werewolfs now apes... Soldath will fire off a sleep spell into their midst if he the spell available (he would have needed to study after the last combat). If not, he will fire a magic missile at the closest one.

Combat round 1
Baboons win initiative

The attacking creatures continue to hoot, holler, and make a bunch of noise as they rain stones down upon you. One hits Harn in the head (d20: 20!) (3 hp dmg), knocking the dwarf off his horse (4 hp dmg). He'll have to spend the next round getting up.

Another rock hits Meringered (4 hp dmg).

He and Anja hold their positions as Athelstan and Jörg dismount for battle.

Tethir and Tret each fire off an arrow. Tret hits one for 4 hp dmg. Tethir misses.

Soldath, who did get a chance to memorize some spells and wasn't hit by a rock, chants a sleep spell. Two baboons drop to the ground. The rest stop and stare blankly at their fallen comrades, then at you.

Soldath 9/10 as human, 24/24 as werewolf
Athelstan 22/25
Tret Renegats 18/18
Harn Hammerhand 19/30
Meringered 4/9
Tethir 9/12
Anja 18/22
Jörg 20/25

Two baboons are sleeping. Four are awake, one wounded.

Actions? Don't forget to deduct missiles and spells used.

Meringered dismounts as well, still feeling the pain from his wound, and seeks the protection of his mount. his shield is raised in hope to avoid any more falling rock.
