Continuing...

It is a bright morning sunshine that streams in through the windows as you wake. You feel rested and hale. It takes you some time to fully waken and get ready for the day and then the woman at the desk of the inn points you in the direction of the Chapel.

The walk is quite different than the night before. Wolford is busy with activity. You near Mercat Square where vendors have already set up shop and the bank nearby where Master Gint Grüber's note will come in handy. You can see The Shrine of Garth one way and a in a different direction short walk will take you to the tower where the cart, your friends' bodies and your loot is being stored.

Let's see what what the local priest can do for us...and get a look at the contents of that cart. Dieter will head off with everyone else to the tower to retrieve the cart.

You arrive at the tower. The guards here are new, apparently the shift from last night is over, and are a bit testy, but eventually hand over the cart. One of the guards wants to charge you for "storage fees" but relents once he discovers you are working for Sir Taris.

A quick survey finds all of your belongings intact. The bodies are beginning to smell and one of the guards suggests dipping them in tar.

Furuk nods in agreement with the guard about the odor.

“It may be a good idea to do so. Where would the closest supply of tar be?”

Were taking them to the priest now, if they cannot see us today we will consider the tar. Taking 10-15 minutes outside the "storage" area, he will inventory the contents of the cart. Afterward he will say: Let's get over to the priest! That away I think!

At a different Shrine...

The party approaches, with cart, The Shrine of Saint Garth of the Good Earth. It is one of the larger buildings in the town of Wolford. The large wooden doors that serve as the main entrance are open to allow air to circulate. Leaving the cart in front for the moment you enter the temple and are greeted by a young acolyte. He asks who you are looking for and then goes and returns with an older holy man.

The man smiles widely and entends a hand in greeting. "Blessings be upon you from Garth and the Law of Nature. What brings you to our humble shrine?"
