Searchers of the Unknown: Expanded

Postby Skathros » Wed Feb 13, 2013 11:56 am

"In a typical old-school module's monster stats are listed like this: (AC6, MV9’, HD 1, hp 4, #AT1, D1-10 by halberd). The idea is that, if it’s enough for monsters, it should be enough for PCs as welll".

This is the basic idea behind Nicolas Dessaux's brilliant Searchers of the Unknown rules.

This EXPANDED edition of Searchers of the Unknown presents the original SotU rules along with various supplemental and optional add-ons to customize your SotU game.

Included within the EXPANDED edition are:
-Rules for including demihumans in your SotU game.
-Rules for playing clerics and magic-users.
-A listing of available clerical and magic-user spells.
-A collection of creatures and critters.
-Items and equipment both magical and mundane.
-And much more!

So, what are you waiting for? Grab some dice, create a hero, and go search the unknown!

The whole thing weighs in at 30 pages. I wanted something lite-weight, yet robust. One of the other two authors has agreed with my idea to offer a hard copy option at cost (6 dollars and change) and i'm awaiting the approval of the final author to do so. Compatible with all AC9 games (where unarmored equals AC9)
