Cowards or knowing when to quit?
With Tavin's call of "Who's there?" the noise in the room suddenly stops. Father Redmond throws a flask of oil at the door, where it smashes loudly and satisfyingly on the door and pools oil in the floor (that's good lamp oil there!).
The door is flung open and an evil looking brigand, flail in hand, stands there. He looks about, taking in the lot of you, who are scattered haphazardly around the large space, mainly in the southeast side.
He yells, Too many, run! And turns from the door, running into the room beyond. You hear others starting to do likewise!
Actions?

Yes, maybe I will not ask next time. Where I come from even the not so good folks are more polite. He will say turning red. Reaching to his belt he will draw and try to fling a dagger into the brigand who opened the doors back.

OOC: Does FR have a chance to cast Hold Person on the brigand before he disappears?

Thurwin will try to find a window or arrow slit peeking out the side to see if the expected bad guys are fleeing up, or out. He'll relay anything he learns to the others.
