The party leaves the three prisoners to haul away the body of their friend. They make a makeshift stretcher from some wood and reeds and head on their way, with a thank you.

The party then avoids Nulb and crosses into the Gnarley Wood leading their prisoners where they encounter encounter [1d12] = 10 nothing this day. It is evening and the sun has painted the sky red as the party renters Hommlet.

Thurwin motions toward the domain of Burne and Rufus. "Let's go there first. They might not be too pleased with our guests, but let's go there to have these men taken from our custody."

OOC: I say visit Burne and Rufus, get these guys accounted for, and then we get some inn time and a nice bed/bath for a day or two, then go back. We can cash in loot, and maybe buy some needed supplies.

Thurwin nods at the bound men and says "Yes, I'm afraid so. We have shattered one of the sects of the temple, the Earth temple, to be precise. Despite the assertions that the temple is vacant, we can tell you that this faction was rebuilding, taking prisoners, engaging in torture and murder, and even conjuring earthen elementals to do their foul bidding. There is much afoot under this place, to be sure."

Thurwin, along with any contributions from the rest of the party, will give a cliffs notes version of their latest foray, including the elementals, he turnkey, and the other critters encountered. He'll describe the circumstances these men were captured, and that we couldn't let them go due to their murdering ways.

Morgan, seeing that his brother has everything under control, lets Thurwin do the talking. He'll interrupt only if the mage leaves out any details.

Calthas stresses what the wizard said. "Evil forces are gathering again in this place, and they are active. Doing nothing now will expose the entire region to a lot of misery very soon!"

The Gnome only interrupts Thurwin to add sound effects. While waiting, he casts Cure Light Wounds on Effric and Bror.
