I wonder if S&S could be used for the Alien Legions ? Anyone remember this great scifi comic?

Ill post some pictures when I get a chance. Basically its the French Foreign Legions in space. Lots of cool aliens, battles, and suicide missions.

I remember that comic well. I never got into the story (I only picked it up intermittently or read friends') but loved the art.

Thanks Greyarea! Yeah, was a good comic. Now they have two Omnibus editions that collect the entire series. Supposedly , Dark Horse comics is restarting the series. Ive even heard about a movie.
Anyway, lots of cool aliens. Some neat ideas for scenarios. No "redshirts", its war, anyone can die.

Ive dug out some dusty boxes and went through my old comic collection. I dont think Ive found a single issue of Alien Legion without at least a dozen different aliens in it. Ive seen 9 diiferent creatures on one page alone.

It seems that S&S can be adjusted a bit for Alien Legion to fit. Most characters would be soldiers or troopers with standard issue equipment ( skirmish suit & a beam rifle). Of course there would be Officers, Medics, etc,etc also.
