Slippers of Spider Climbing: When worn, a pair of these
slippers enables movement on vertical surfaces or even upside
down along ceilings, leaving the wearer's hands free. Movement
is 60' (20'). Severely slippery surfaces -- icy, oiled, or greased
surfaces -- make these slippers useless. The slippers can be used
for 5 turns per day, split up as the wearer chooses.

If Zavenorrin attempts to use his slippers to climb on the ceiling if the Oozes room, will he be reachable by the monsters?

The ceilings in that room were 15'. If the oozes were not occupying the ceiling when you arrived, you would conceivably be out of their reach from what you have seen, unless they decided to pursue you

No, don't believe an Identify has been cast upon it. It glows a bit and feels good in your hand, very weight proportioned. Doesn't appear cursed as you can remove it from your hand
