Dieter conjures a air elemental. He will ask it to engage the dragon in the clouds.

Grimes will hold on to the potion for the moment, standing beside his horse waiting to see what transpires with the elemental, He'll go invisible at this time.

OOC: Grimes will prepare to ride with the others assuming the elemental can waylay the dragon. If the dragon doesn't fall for it, he'll tell the others to take his horse and make a run for it, and he'll assess his options at that time.

Dieter raises his staff and a wind blows from its tip. The wind coalesces into a small air elemental which rises at the wizard's command. The white dragon notices it after it approaches and a battle in the cloud line begins. You see a white lance of cold fire from the dragon's maw at the elemental and then the animated whirlwind engulfs the wyrm. They seem to wrestle in the air and are soon blocked by clouds.

From what you hear the battle isn't over yet. Dieter strains as he attempt to control the extra-planar being.

The moment the two disappear, Grimes spurs his mount on and says "Let's go!" And he rides hard, keeping a watchful eye behind on the clouds.

Let's ride hard and if we see the dragon making to intercept, Grimes will chug the potion and go for Plan B.

Castinus, watches the battle unfold for a moment, then gives a tug on his mount's reins. He follows Grimes toward the cavern entrance.

Dieter will concentrate on controlling the elemental, spurs his horse to follows the others.

"I'll keep you in my sight Dieter."

Furuk takes off on his horse at a slower gate and rides toward the cavern entrance. He will look back repeatedly to make sure Dieter still has control of the elemental.

Dandy follows the group to the cave entrance.

The battle in the clouds continues and the party races across the trail, Dieter moving more slowly because of the intense concentration involved.

You get between halfway and two-thirds across when Dieter feels the presence of the air elemental dissipate. Moments later, the white dragon, streaks of red on his haunches and hatred in his eyes, breaks the cloud cover looking for you!
