Samwise7's YouTube RPG Videos

Postby samwise7 » Thu Dec 16, 2010 4:35 am

I try to mainly focus on RPGs, but I do splash out with some other videos from time to time. Not all of my videos are old school in nature, but I have been putting more of those up lately. I'll update this thread when I post an old school RPG video.

Samwise,

I have been following you on YouTube for a while now. What I like about your game reviews, advice and general blather is how genuine you are. Nothing fancy, nothing controversial, just straightforward game talk. I appreciate that, and it is what keeps me coming back for the new videos you post. Keep doing what you do, man.

I really appreciate the way you put that compliment. Thanks Shane. I try to be who I am, and try to be fair and consistent. Genuine... I really like that. :)

I've posted several RPG blather vids lately that really aren't OSR, but are just RPG related in general.

There is a video about keeping things simple with a dungeon and a small town:

I did a few videos on the Swords & Glory Vol 1 & 2 books for the Tekumel/Empire of the Petal Throne setting. They really are system-less, and are just chocked full of detail on the setting.

Ooh, Tekumel. That will surely attract the attention of the RPG gods...

There's actually a lot of people that haven't heard of EPT. It's kind of sad. It's complex, but it's awesome. :)

I do a review of three LL modules from Small Niche Games: Blood Moon Rising, Inn of Lost Heroes, and Pyramid of the Dragon.

The next videos are supposed to be put out by the following YouTubers:
clackclickbang http://www.youtube.com/user/clackclickbang
TheNerubin http://www.youtube.com/thenerubin
Webhead123 http://www.youtube.com/user/Webhead123

They are all quite silly, filled with hyperbole and exaggeration. They are fantastical tales laced with debauchery, hehe.
