Anadrea

"Get in the back Druid, you are gravely injured!"
Will step in to engage his foe (if he has one) - otherwise she will hack at the first one shes sees

Let the red dawn surmise
What we shall do,
When this blue starlight dies
And all is through.

Dieter

Dieter will dig out the potion of healing given to him in town and make his way to Vismund. Here... swallow this.

Lizardmen battle round 3

INITIATIVE (party, lizardmen, d6, d6, 2, 2, SIMULTANEOUS action) ~ this is always interesting

Einar knocks another arrow and fires it (d20+1, 8+1=9, MISS) but the shot flies wide.

Anadrea swings her sword (d20+1, 2+1=3, MISS) but misses. Kalvain swings his mighty bastard sword (d20+4, 4+4=8, MISS) but the lizardman slides by the slice unharmed. The spear of the lizardman (d20, 18, HIT) again finds its mark, and again (dmg, d6+1, 5+1=6) wounds the mighty paladin.

Dandy swings his dwarven hammer again, (d20, 9+3=12, MISS) but just misses his foe. Furuk swings his sword (d20+3, 11+3=14, HIT) and hits the first lizardman, (dmg d8+3, 1+3=4) and runs him through, killing him dead.

Cygnus struggles against his "pet" who still binds him but will be loose in a turn. Dieter brings the healing potion to his lips, and (d6+1, 2+1=3) brings some comfort to the druid. The lizardman Cygnus faces thrusts his spear (d20, 19, HIT) and hits (dmg d6+1, 6+1=7) negating the effect of the potion and ending the druid's life.

Cygus lies dead, the snake that bound him in his last breath returning to staff form, and the lizardman who pierced him looks about, the last of his pack (Morale check, 2d6, 10, pass) and settles back on his haunches with spear raised ready to spring and fight to the end.

Dieter

Dieter will mutter something about light and point at the lizard man.

OCC: Casting continual light on the creatures eyes. Spell whacked off sheet.

Always nice to see the designer of the module drop by to put his two cents in. :D Funny how he seems to do it whenever a PC bites it...

Anadrea

In the adrenaline of battle - seems to take little heed of the Druid's demise. "Fight for your lives!!!" she screams as she swings her longsword again at a Lizard man

Einar, human Thief

Einar drops the bow and draws his blade, wading into melee near Cygnus and Dieter in an attempt to lend aid.

Lizardmen battle round 4

Initiative (party, lizardman, d6, d6, 2, 3, Lizardman has initative)

The lizardman turns to the next available foe (d6, 3, Anadrea), stabbing his spear in Anadrea's direction. (d20, 15, HIT) The spear lances out and into the Sylvan elf. (dmg d6+1, 1+1=2) Luckily for her, it does only minor damage.

The party strikes back.

Dieter casts continual light on the eyes of the lizardman warrior (saving throw vs spells, 12, FAIL) which blinds the great scaly beast.

Anadrea strikes back at the lizardman (d20, 14+1=15, HIT) skewering the beast (dmg d8+1, 5+1=6). He looks at her with hate in his eyes.

Einar follows through with a strike of his own (d20, 20, CRITICAL HIT, MAX DAMAGE) and the light fades from the cruel creature's eyes.

All the lizardmen are dead, as is Cygus, the druid. Aiden is in a corner, having kept back at Einar's command, and is whimpering at the blood and violence.

Anadrea

Walks over and kneels down beside her fallen comrade. She will say a silent prayer to the Gods of the Forest on his behalf and close his eyes. "We need to take his body outside and either burn it or bury it. He would not want his final resting place to be in this dump." She will look around for another person to help her carry the body

"We need to get this kid outta here and collect the reward, which way leads quickest to the exit?"
