OOC: Hey, I have internet at home now. Having no internet at home (even my phone was at like zero bars -- I could make calls but I had flashbacks of dial-up!) and getting situated in my new job killed my ability to get on here much. Sorry about that! Glad to be back! Two crits and the baddies fumble? Happy New Year!!!! :D

Yeah, that was fun. I love the snow but moreso the reaction to it here. I thought everyone was exaggerating when they said that all of the bread and milk would be bought from the stores, but I went to the supermarket the Saturday of the storm and the bread was gone and the milk was just getting restocked. It's like everyone eats milk sandwiches when it snows.

Good times. :)

I'm going to PM Tamerlaine and JL Duncan to let them know we're back on and then, after a day or so, do the next turn.

Yeah, it's like the apocalypse. I usually chronicle my Bread/Milk Odyssey each storm on Facebook. The bad part is that my three kids love PB&J sandwiches, so if each one eats one, then at least one will want seconds, that's close to half a loaf of bread in a meal, so between milk and bread, I have to buy that all the time, and then when it storms, I have to beat the panic buyers. It's loads of fun. Thankfully you only average one "STORM TO END ALL STORMS!" once per season....
