Hi all, well we are in the process of relocating to Buffalo NY (bye Wisconsin!), so I will evaluate which conventions are nearby and work up a schedule for what's left of this year and into next year.

There are a lot of university-based gaming clubs that put on cons in the region of Buffalo, Rochester, etc.

Based upon how long they have been doing them, I'd suggest looking into:

I've discovered MEPACON in PA this November - anyone local that might be attending? I think I'm going to try.

I have recently gotten back into contact with a gaming acquaintance from the 1990's who swears MEPACON is a great con. He is mostly currently into Pathfinder these days though.

Someday I'd like to check it out (basically a straight shot on Interstate-84 for me from Middletown NY to Scranton PA area).

Sadly I work most weekends (however schedule at work subject to change as I have just about been automated out of a job, but still working on getting the bugs out of new system).

I recently joined this Meetup Group:
