3rd Edition Options?

What options from the 3rd Edition would you like to see in LL/AEC?

Would this be a worthy document?

1. 3E style saves (Fort/Ref/Will)
2. Optional simple feats (in the style of "Old School Feats" for S&W) - simple feats, maybe max +1 to stuff, no feat chains. Basically a way to indiviualize your character.
3. New spells from the SRD
4. New monsters
5. New magic items
6. Optional ascending AC rules

Just off the top of my head... And of course - these additions would be kept simple, B/X style

What you're describing has already been done: http://matt-landofnod.blogspot.com/p/blood-treasure.html

3.5 psionics, just don't call it "psionics". Think of it as just another type of magic.

Thanks Redwulff. I know about B&T, and I really, really like that game. In fact, I'm importing most of those things into "my" LL/AEC game. But, as the OP asked - if a optional 3E version of LL were to be made - that's the things I'd like to see.

Absolutely agreed. I like LL as a close-enough version of B/X. We don't need to be mixing in 3rd edition. That's what Pathfinder is for.

I implemented a very simple system of talents, designed to "improve" some aspects of characters, related to some tasks in the game.
For example:
- Forester talent might improve the chance of foraging by 1.
- The Healer talent might add +1 to the hit points healed during the day.
- Horsemanship talent allows attacking from a horse and making the horse attack at the same time.
- Leadership talent improves the morale score of retainers by +1.

And so on; there are lots of little rules snippets which would benefit from these simple rules tweaks.

What about this.
No skills or feats except for what is in LL/AEC.
Just the class and race options of 3E but still keeping it LL/AEC.

Ugh, that would mean having barbarians, the most ill-conceived class of all time (though the thief-acrobat comes in a very near second).
