I've edited this post to reflect our line-up as of 1/20/11.

1) connivingsumo - cleric
2) grey area - cleric
3) OldSchool - elf
4) kipper - halfling
5) elijah234 - fighter
6) Professor P - thief

Almost there...

Wow that went fast!

Welcome Elijah!
@Old School: I don't know the "known world" either, unfortunately. :(

I'm gonna do some reviewing of the LL races/classes - do my rolls - and see what fits our needs.

If we end up with 2 clerics, I'll play a fighter.

If we end up with a fighter and dwarf, I'll play a cleric.

If Kipper plays a halfling, then I'll play a MU.

Clear as mud? hahaha :P

Sorry, OldSchool. LL rules: clerics cannot use edged or impaling weapons.

No need to be sorry - I was just checking to see if that would work. Nerfing maces and hammers to have a one-handed weapon doing only d6 is stinky in my opinion, so I was looking for some sort of equalizer.

How about a the studded tetsubo? Or do you want no polearm for the cleric and sling, club, mace, flail, mitts, and warhammers only?

Your cleric can wield a tetsubo to start with, and we'll treat it like a heavy flail (1d8, two-handed, same weight and price). I'll observe and evaluate this ruling after a few encounters. If something seems amiss, then thieves will steal your weapon in the middle of the night and replace it with a brand new mace. Deal? :)

@Kipper & grey area:

Either of you know what you want to play yet? :)

Okay, Kipper's playing a halfling. I've updated the list above. Connivingsumo and Grey Area, what do you say? We still need an arcane spellcaster, and some more muscle of the human or dwarf persuasion.

With these stats, I think a cleric makes sense.

STR 14, DEX 13, CON 9, INT 14, WIS 17, CHA 15
