Upon missing the Gnoll, seeing him confused, and then witnessing him 'turn-tail' and run for it, he casts Hold Person! In Orcish the little Gnome yells, "STOP!! I command thee to hold position!!"

OoC: lol... Thanks for the laugh!

Pax feeling mighty proud of himself, having de-genatiled (yes, I know) his last combatant, grabs the former's spear (as in the weapon) and with high hope, chucks it at the concussed and fleeing gnoll.

Effric wipes off his scimtar on the dead bugbear's shirt, and watches to see if his companions can stop the fleeing gnoll. If he has to he'll chase the gnoll with Thurwin.

Calthas will let the others deal with the remaining gnoll and look at the room instead.

With the voice of his deity, the gnome commands the gnoll to stop. Saving throw [1d20-2] = 11-2 = 9 As the gnoll's hand grips the doorknob he freezes in place!

This plastered, painted chamber was probably one of the many guest rooms of the Temple. It now holds a cot, two sofas, some cushions, a small table, and a battered cabinet. The carpeting on the floor is of a gray hue, indicating connection to the Air Temple.

Calthas opens the cabinet, where he finds some old clothes, five wax candles, a quart of honey, and a hand axe. He searches the bodies (three of them snoring loudly) finding 13PP, 13GP, 13SP, 16CP.

He also notices that the door to the south swings open easily but it has nothing in it but two piles of old tapestries and rags (bedding) and four spears standing in a far corner. Oh, and 19GP, 19SP, and 18CP among the rags.

Staring at the frozen Gnoll, the Cleric blinks in disbelief. To no one in particular, "Well... I couldn't remember if they speak Orcish or not." He then motions to the mightier of his party, "I'll leave it to you brutes to decide what to do with him, just don't let him get away!"

Calmert then searches the sofa, cushions, and the carpet, finishing with an inspection of the wax candles.

"Maybe we can bind the sleeping or immobilized ones with the rags and roll them in the carpets?" suggests Calthas, half joking (which is slightly out of character for him).

Thurwin points toward the gnoll and says quietly "On guard! Where was he running to? Perhaps there are reinforcements behind that door. Let's carefully check, shall we? No surprises, men."

OOC: Perhaps we kill the gnoll and see what's behind the door. Also - SPOILS THREAD UPDATED WITH GOLD, SILVER AND PLATINUM. I didn't add any of the other stuff.
