Mega Bloks ST a possible source for miniature models for S&S
For Trek's 50th aniv. Mega Bloks has created several new star trek collectible construction sets. I have notice in other forums that the use of Lego or other block sets have become a alternative to miniatures and even maps. These new mega blok sets have some nice sculpted character figures that might work well for S&S 2e as an alternative to miniatures. While the scale is much larger then many game mini models... two of the sets have four figures each and ring in around 15 which in some cases is the same or cheaper for a figure set of four models. The Enterprise model rings in at $250 which is too rich for my blood but does look pretty cool for a block set.
