The party retraces its steps, moving back to the staircase and towards the secret door. When Grimes and Furuk glance south down the hall they see illumination in the dark. Torchlight! It is moving down the east hall, fading as if the torchbearer moves east...

OOC: Of course, we don't know who "Em" is, but all the same, they probably need gettin'. Grimes will volunteer to go ahead invisibly to check out the source of the light.

Grimes returns quickly, and with a shrug says "I saw a light. I think. Like a torchlight, but with no torch. It was moving away from me, and then started to come towards me. That way." Motioning to the direction of the light. "I don't know what it was. But I think we should go follow it."

Furuk nods at Grimes after hearing his report. With his sword drawn he continues on following the light.

Upon rounding the corner and seeing the group of adventurers, Einar quickly removes the hood of his elven cloak and says, "It's me! No need to get a thing."

"I tired of the city life, so I thought I'd join company again with such a fine band as yourselves", he says with a shrug.

Grimes busts out a big smile and says "Einar! I almost chopped you! But I'm glad to see you!" Then he gets a serious look and says "What are you doing, walking around down here alone? No matter, c'mon!"

Grimes breathes a sigh of relief and takes a moment to welcome back our long lost colleague.
