Dieter uses Ice. A blast of cold fills the area as a silvery-bluish-grey beam hits the floor. A Wall of Ice now covers the entire floor, including covering the pit traps.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes smirks and says "Let's go, shall we?" And he'll lead the way across.

The ice is slick but no where near as bad as the frictionless surface of the floor. When you get to the far end, you discover that the wall there is indeed an illusion, although nothing but more room (with its silvery surface) is beyond the faux wall.

section C is what was behind the faux wall.

The door leads to a passage that goes west for a bit and then splits north/south, with doors at either end. The floors are dry stone, as are the walls of the hall. This area was never flooded, it seems.

The door to the north reveals no sound behind it, nor are there traps that Castinus can find. The door swings inward to reveal a strange sight indeed. Suspended in mid-air in the northern part of this room is a stream that flows toward the east. It enters and leaves through 6- foot-diameter tunnels, half filling them; the entrance tunnel is in the west wall, and the exit tunnel is in the northeast corner. The surface of the stream is flat, about five feet off the floor, but below the surface, the stream appears to be flowing through some invisible pipe about two feet off the floor. Fish swim in the water.

Six small boats are lined up facing the south wall, three on either side of the door. These have covered bows and sterns, and two round holes where a person might fit.

Arching an eyebrow: Indeed! This has to be some of the most intensive displays of magic I have ever seen. The boats suggest that we use this stream to go elsewhere.... do we want to check the door to the south before potentially making use of this water path? I ask since there may be no easy way back upstream.
