You follow the hall east which then bends south. The floor slowly slopes up until there is just wet muck and then it is merely damp. Ahead of you south is a door, heavy wood bound in iron bands. The wood is swollen with the humidity and the bands rusty but solid.

Grimes - Fighter

If the door is untrapped, Grimes will try to force it open. "Hey, Furuk! Wanna give me a hand with this door?"

Einar, Thief

"Hold up. You call that a proper inspection? Let a professional handle this". Einar steps up to the door and inspects for traps. He'll also attempt to identify any locking mechanisms or determine if the door is simply swollen shut.

(secret roll) Einar finds no traps on the door. Upon close inspection, he determines that there is no locking mechanism that he can discover, the door is merely swollen shut due to the humidity. The door would swing out into the corridor but would need a mighty pull from one of you to get unjammed.

Grimes will give it a tug. If it requires more, he'll ask Furuk to assist.

Grimes STR [1d20] = 6

Grimes pulls. The door doesn't budge. He yanks. It moves slightly. He puts his halfling foot on the door jamb and strains.

The door opens about halfway, jamming open on the floor before it can be moved further. It seems kind of stuck in that position but it's open.

The room beyond is dark but there is a twinkling or glinting within from the light cast from the Glowing Dirk of Luminescence.

Einar, Thief

Hood up, Einar peaks over the halfling to gain a better view. He whispers, "Something shines".

Entering the room, you see nine silvery globes hanging from the ceiling by fine wires. They are two feet in diameter.

As you approach, entering fully into the room, the door behind you slams shut! It actually knocks Theo forward, slamming into his backside.

Other than the silver balls in the air, the room is empty.
