Calthas looks at the prisoners suspiciously. "If I were to call myself 'Master' and build up a small conquering army, I would not behave like a mere miscreant even if made prisoner. There must be more to this whole thing than these two thugs..." he reflects. He will keep a close eye at them while they are walking back to the village.

Caydon - Rogue

Flashing a smile, "Of course," the Rogue replies before skulking off to check the path of egress.

Which route does the party take to exit the moathouse?

Tavin - Monk

I think going back the way we came may be prudent.

Yes, via the secret stair in the bandit room. Caydon will be running point to listen and make sure none of the goons have left a surprise for us...

The party leads the two bad guys out of the ruins of the moathouse. You head to the secret stair. The "new master" and his lieutenant seem very compliant and resigned to their fates.

You make it up the stair without incident. The walk through the upper level of the moathouse also without incident, leading the men through the once bandit-held area, down the grand stair, and through the courtyard.

As you cross the threshold leaving the moathouse, the two split as quickly as possible, running into the fen. One goes right and the other left. Surprise roll [1d6] = 6 This surprises no one, but is a challenge.

Actions?

Hit points and marching order
Effric 5/10 <4/2>
--Calthas 10/13
Tavin 9/9 <CLW>
Father Redmond 13/13 <5/3>
Caydon 6/6
--Thurwin 5/5 <sleep x2>

Tavin - Monk

Tavin will take off after the master pulling out a dagger. When he closes distance he will attempt to put the pommel of his dagger on a collision course with the masters head.

Thurwin - Wizard

Thurwin will cast sleep on both if they are close enough together, otherwise on the fighter guy.

OOC: Stupid. Two bound, gagged morons running. We'll hobble them with rope when we recapture them. Hopefully we do.

FR will cast Hold Person on the "New Master"... again.
