I thought the same thing. But when I checked the profile it was blank... sometimes they've got extra stuff there that IDs them as a spammer. Ah well, time will tell for sure.

I have noticed recently that we are getting quite a few new 'members' and MANY of them have the day they joined as their birthday (see the three latest to join on the 23rd who all have the 23rd as their birthday). It may not be that all are spammers, but I would be willing to bet that quite a few are. Not sure what, if anything, can be done but just wanted to point this out.

Thanks sonofotho, I'll keep an eye on them and boot them at the door if they even whisper a hint of spam.

Actually I see we've had a flood of such memberships this month, I can see I'm going to have to invest some time delousing the place.

Thanks for checking it out - looking at the details of these 'members' you can see that they all have some type of website they are peddling. Looks like it started on or around April 3rd by my guess - but I'm no Perry Mason!

Yep, that's when it started alright. Thankfully they're not posting yet and I can delete the accounts at my own leisure.

Ton of spammer/fake accounts. Check out the names & birthdays at the bottom of the forums. They also have some kind of business website attached to their profile most of the time.
