The rest of the evening is fairly uneventful. Marcus engages Holgrim in some friendly banter, and manages to have some informative back and forth until the booze scrambles the grizzled cleric's brain a bit, and he politely excuses himself, and with some help from Howie he stumbles off to bed.

Badobus chats up Howie and Grinkle a bit, and finds Howie to be a pleasant soul, although quite dim-witted and a bit slow. He apparently was rescued by Holgrim 2 years earlier, and has dedicated his continued existence to serving Tempus and Holgrim as his porter. From his comments, it's clear that Holgrim, while abrasive, treats Howie quite well.

Eventually everyone retires for a well-earned sleep, and it's a quiet evening with just the sound of the winter wind whistling outside and the sound of driven snow pelting the walls of the inn.

Morning comes and a glance outside reveals about two feet of snow, and the commotion of the residents clearing it from their doorways and paths. The smell of breakfast slips in under the door. The attendants provide warm water and towels and you tidy up and head out to the common room for some food. Trays of steaming breakfast fare is put in front of you, and Holgrim and Howie are already in the room eating. They wave and motion for you to join them. Despite his rough end to the evening, Holgrim seems none the worse for wear.

Holgrim quietly mentions to the group that Flamstred was departing this morning and said he'd be back within two days to escort you to the dock where you will meet your vessel. He urges you to attend to your needs and business by that time.

Armor repairs and equipment will be ready, and identification services will be done. I'll cover these in the next post, but in the meantime, are there any business items to wrap up before you leave?

Hey fellas, sorry for the delay here. I'm going to pause this game for a bit to allow for the other game to ramp up a bit, then we'll pick this up again, we are at a good stopping point at the moment. Thanks for the understanding..
