Tavin - Monk

Seeing Caydons approach he will meet him: Good to see you, are you alright? We were getting worried.

Calthas meets his returning mate as well. "What happened?" he simply asks.

Bror - Dwarf

Bror's flinty brows knit as he scrunches his face at Caydon, pointing a pudgy finger at him. "Aye. Wot 've ye been up to, lad?"

Caydon - Rogue
Caydon quickly does a head count and then visibly relaxes. "Sorry I'm late gentlemen, I returned to Nulb to tie up some loose ends. You see I felt guilty about leaving those prisoners, those women dragging their wounded and dead, to make it to safety on their own. You see I felt that someone should watch after them. So I followed them, until they made it home. And then on the way here I met a farmer and his wife who had been terrorized by the gnolls and bugbear we turned loose." His face dark with anger, Caydon then leans in towards Thurwin and Morgan, "You two have always preached to me to do the right thing. I didn't know that meant we only do the right thing when it's easy..."
"This looks like a place we've never been to before!"

Effric shrugs. "Sometimes evil must balance the good. It is the way of things. Our larger purpose is more important than such small battles."

Tavin - Monk

Did you take care of the issue or should we track them down?

Morgan frowns at Caydon. "If you thought it was so important, then why didn't you say so? Better than sneakin' off like you did."

Sorry for the delay, gents. My laptop died. Again.

"Food for thought." says Calthas. "We should think hard next time we want to set free one of these creatures lingering in the temple..."

From among the caravaners, an aged cleric in robes and the fist of Heironeous on his chest approaches the paladin in your group. He puts a mailed hand on Morgan's shoulder and speaks to him in hushed tones. (PM sent) The cleric of Heironeous and the paladin move into the Welcome Wench and go upstairs, the look on Morgan's face grim

Caydon is bombarded with questions and the newly returned thief answers as best he can. Trades are concluded and the party settles in for the night. On the morrow, you conclude that it is best to return to the Temple and continue your work.

A woman in white and gold, a cleric of Photos, comes forward and offers healing to those injured. A touch of her symbol--a silvery sun with a crescent moon on the lower right quadrant--and words of thanksgiving are all that is needed to restore health.
