Expanding fighter combat options.

For archery I was thinking more along the lines of this. The standard fighter also gets Lance Attack and Set Spear vs. Charge, so for archery I was mostly thinking about letting fighters swap either of the two out. Dragon sniping would fall under One Shot, One Kill, which would replace Lance Attack or Set Spear vs Charge. Though archery related fighter combat options would be a good idea too.

Maybe within 30' a fighter (only) can shoot one additional projectile and incur a -2 to hit penalty? Probably make this an ability they gain at level 3-6

Charging with a lance and setting spear is something you might never, ever use in the course of an adventuring career, so giving it up isn't really as valuable as doubling the rate of fire.

The Ethengar Horse Warrior has a couple of nice simple options for mounted archery.

The 8th level ability seems very strong. A 5% chance of dropping Orcus on a single hit? You might want to make it against creatures up to a certain HD.

I was envisioning a fighter shooting a dragon out of the sky. Dragons can have 20+ HD. But I wasn't considering uniques. I'll take another look at the ability and put a cap of some sort on it.

Honestly though, even dropping a unique with one mighty cleave shouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for a high-level fighter. Maybe I'll move it up to 12th or 15th.

I notice in basic LL, fighters don't get a second attack per round until 15, which seems way too late.

Here's the link to the updated version. I limited the mighty attack to targets of the same hit dice or level as the fighter or lower.

EDIT: linked the wrong doc before

Here's the real link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_0ONk ... sp=sharing

Gosh... I will edit.

It's a good thing it's not the manuscript of my My Little Pony- Harry Potter romance bondage novel! That would be embarrassing because it's not spell checked yet.
