It's time for another Friday Freebie map. Click to enlarge.

Map Details:
* The shaded areas represent water. The stairs within the water channel act as a cascading falls leading to area 42 a). I picture the shaded tunnels as being completely submerged but ultimately that is up to the DM. The tunnels that run off the map can either connect to a water source (river, lake, sewers, etc.) or to another map. The stairs in the water channel leading from the bottom of the page is a cascading waterfalls.
* Areas 1, 2, 21, 26, 33 b) have statues. The statue in area 33 b) is submerged.
* Areas 4, 15, 20, 27 b), 33 a), 35, and 37 have bars.
* Areas 6, 21, and 24 have pillars.
* Areas 9 and 25/37 have one-way secret doors.
* Areas 10 and 23 have tapestries.
* Areas 10, 30, 36, and 37 have ladders.
* Areas 20 and 22 have bridges.
* Area 22 b), c), and d) have large buttresses/columns.
* Area 28 has an open pit that ends st a submerged tunnel that connects to the parallel northern and southern water channels.
* Areas 30 and 37 have dry ledges just above the water line.

While this map can be used as a stand alone map, it can also be linked up with last five weeks' worth of Friday Freebie maps. This map fits on the top right (click to enlarge):

Here is another Japanese minka floor plan. This one is known as a chūmon-zukuri (a minka with a L-shaped floor plan, with the main entrance located in the stable wing). Based on a minka from Shiwa-gun, Iwate Prefecture. Click to enlarge.

Time for this week's Friday Freebie map. This time it is a cavern map. Click to enlarge.

* Arrows show the downward slop of the tunnel passages.
* The dotted lines show the location of the lower tunnels.
* Area 1 is the forest at the cave mouth.
* Areas 6 and 7 have a large chasm with an old (Slightly crumbling?) stone bridge crossing it.
* Area 8 has steam/fog in it.
* Area 11 a) is an upper cliff (note the elevation marker) with natural stone steps that lead down to 11 b). Areas 11 d) and e) have water in them (which connects to an underground lake/river?).
* Area 14 a) has natural columns. Area 14 b) has an altar and a stone monolith.
* Area 17 b) has a ledge (note the elevation marker) that overlooks area 23 a).

This week's Friday Freebie map is a ruin keep. Click to enlarge.

Image

Map Details:
* Since this is a ruin keep, I envision the upper levels have collapsed and are no longer accessible. Some of the ground level ceilings may be open thus exposing the room(s) to the elements.
* The circular lines are elevation lines.
* The greyish-green areas represent trees.
* A stream runs west to east at the bottom of the map.
* The many dots represent rubble.
* There is a statue in the corridor just north of Area 8.
* The white arrowhead shapes on the walls are arrow slits.
* Areas 3, 10, 11, and 12 have doors that have fallen off their hinges and now lay on the floor.
* Area 9 has a ledge (that is 30' high). There is a pool of water in this chamber.

Cheers,
Tim

And now for something completely different... This map was created for a TMNT: After the Bomb game but it could easily be used in a Mutant Future game. It is an archive that has been partially ransacked and occupied by mutant savages (on sub-floor 1). Sub-floor 2 is mainly untouched and still has the machinery of the ancients.
