That is pretty crazy, the jars for the players to reach into was an interesting touch. Lot's of work done there.

I agree. You guys encountered roughly half of what the dungeon had to offer. Of course, some of what you skipped were things like the sphere of annihilation, the trap that teleported you naked to a bad place, the fake tomb, etc.

So you missed a lot of the Tomb of Horrors

A naked teleport? Sphere of annihilation? How did Grimes not foolishly decide to tackle these obstacles???

Thanks. The new maps I found on the internet (just did a search for and they showed up). Imported them into my image editor, added a layer or two, and voila we have a map.

I like both the classic no-repro blue maps but also like the newer maps these kids today are using. And in a PBP game we can mix it up easily enough (although it means that I need to keep in mind what I've revealed so far).

If you look closely, those were all mentioned by others. They could be wrong (and the DM could be a jerk). Just sayin' :)

That didn't turn out to be a very bright idea.

Apparently you didn't get the memo reminding you that ONLY Grimes does blatantly suicidal activities. But never fear, Grimes is coming, so there's always a good chance that he'll die or come painfully close again!
