Unless Darkshire.net is wrong....
Wizard's World
1st ed by David Silvera, Douglas S. Krull (1983) Fantasy Worlds Unlimited
A fantasy genre RPG, subtitled "A Complete Fantasy Role-playing game For Imaginitive Players Of All Ages". It is set in an original fantasy world with a central city known as "Mousehole". The game as a whole is very similar to Dungeons & Dragons, particularly in the experience tables and magic lists was copied almost verbatim. The rules are fairly simple, with a few innovations, such as spell points for regulating wizard's spell memorization.

........from Darkshire.net

Did I miss info on this Mousehole city? Anyone know anything about it?

I did point Mr. Silvera to the thread for questions, so hopefully he will visit the forum and fill everyone in on any questions people have.

For reasons that I assume are personal, as part of my purchase of WW, Doug has asked that his name not to be associated with the book from here on out. I'm posting this only because I don't want there to be a big mystery about it. My understanding is that his involvement was very minimal in the design of WW, and although he and David remain very good friends Doug has moved on and just would rather not field questions about it or be associated with it. We have a great bunch of people here and I'm confident everyone will respect that.

Cool, Dan. Just curious, that's all. No harm done :)

Hi, this is David Silvera checking in. I just want to add here that I have no idea where Mousehole came from. Wizards' World doesn't include any campaign setting, and thus has no "central city". It's great to see the interest in Wizards' World on these forums, and I'll get back with responses on other threads as time permits.

Thanks! Most of the credit goes to Dan, though. I thought Wizards' World was dead and buried when he contacted me about releasing it electronically. I'm just happy to be along for the ride.

Well, speaking of dead and buried...did I miss something or are there no skeletons in WW?
