Rill carefully packs away the potions in his pack.

While he's got it open, he also looks around for an empty vial to fill up, but only comes up with a wineskin and a few flasks of oil.

Seeing Rill digging around for something to carry the water in, Birger rifles in his pack for a moment and says "Aha!" Pulling out a spare waterskin. "Let's use this, shall we?" And he takes it to the bowl, filling it with the presumed holy water.

About 30 seconds after Birger fills the skin with the water, the torches begin to dim, flickering out after about 10-15 seconds. The room is once again in the shadows except for areas near the frosted windows.

Glancing around, Sharon notices that the coins that were in the palm of the statue's hand are missing, and appear to have somehow been moved to the bowl closest to the statue.

Actions?

Grun checks out torches. Are the magic flames hot or di they only produce light?

The torches are cool to the touch, and are not scorched as if they'd been aflame. Closer examination shows that they seem to be affixed to the sconces somehow.

"Mmm, best leave the coins alone," Sharon suggests.

All - we've been here a while, you've basically explored the keep and know what's here. If you want to poke around a bit more, that's fine. Your new Ogre pal is planning on departing for the mountain's today, and you are on your own.

We can move along a couple of ways:
1. we can decide where to go from here (the little keep) and you can figure out where to go next.
or
2. you can go back to the big keep, see what's going on (we have two party members that will be departing the group) figure out a course of action, and head out. We can make it quick or a longer visit, you decide.

Thoughts? Ideas? I know I've slowed it down with my real life issues, but I'd like to pick it up again.

How about if we travel back to the keep and regroup?

Works for me.

Kob will go along with either, but he sort of misses regular big meals, beer, and maybe (it's been a while) a pretty girl to talk to...

Rill would prefer to continue onwards to the Caves.

((Although from a metagaming perspective I'm OK with returning to the keep to ditch the two inactive PCs))
