Furuk says, "sure." He takes off both rings and hands them to Theo. He then walks about twenty feet before returning.

"I couldn't go no further. Armor got too hot. Need my ring back that saved me from the lava lake at Skull Mountain."

He gets his rings back from Theo.

Dieter - Mage

Ahhh, the ring protects you! Could you put it on and try moving Grime's metal items to the end of the hall?

OCC: Duh, I didn't look closely at Furuk's sheet and put 2 + 2 together... :P

Shae - Fighter/Mage
Realizing she is only wearing a chain mail bikini, Shae wishes that she had not suggested striping off armor...*
"Perhaps we in armor could borrow the ring as we pass. Then there is no need for delay or increased risk. Dieter could shuttle the ring back to the next in line, as he would not need to suit up when the task is done." Shae suggests.

* Joke of course!

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes, once down the hall will begin to re-equip quickly, keeping a watchful eye out for bad guys.

Grimes and Furuk work their way down the passage. The rest of the party sees them go, watching them. They get to the room at the end of the hall.

Grimes touches the armor and weapons that Furuk was carrying. Still a might bit too hot. Then there is a **smash** and commotion!

Eight ghouls smash their way out of a secret door!

Surprise roll [1d6] = 5 The halfling and half-orc are not surprised!

The rest of the party is down the hall seventy (70) feet away!

Dieter - Mage

Looking down the hallway Dieter tries to determine if he can light some or all of the ghouls up with a fireball (that has hella range) w/o nailing his friends. If he can he'll take the shot, if not he'll think of something else.

OCC: What's the range of the wall of ice that the wand can produce?

Dieter, if his memory serves, believes that the power of the Wand of Ice is only 60'.

Dandy, Dwarf Cleric

Dandy will attempt to turn the ghouls, then will remove his armor and run down the corridor with just Whelm in hand.

OOC: I asusme Whelm has a wooden or leather-wrapped handle? Also, I had an OOC post about Dandy leveling up and his new spells and HP, I think you may have missed it - but here are the spells:

Spells: CLW x6, Bless, Hold Person, Delay Poison, Augury, Silence 15'r, Glyph of Warding, Cure Disease, Dispel Magic, Protection from Evil 10' radius, Cure serious wounds

It will take a round to try to turn, a round to remove armor, and another round to run down nekkid with Whelm. There is a leather wrap around what you assume is a metal shaft, for the hammer's handle.

Sounds like a plan!
