The gorgon head bows and says in a voice of gravel, As discussed, Lord Castinus, you and yours have free passage. The twin tunnels behind us lead to the the stairway to the Lesser Caverns below. Please remember your promise as Chossos hungers.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes stares at the creature with great interest and some measure of skepticism. He nods politely at the thing and says to the others "Let's be on our way then, eh?"

OOC: Let's get moving! Time to save the world.

"I shall remember, and honor our bargain, great Chossus. Again, you have our thanks," says Castinus.

Furuk - Fighter

Furuk acknowledges the creature as he passes by. He leads the way with Grimes into the tunnel.

The party walks past the creature. A large growl emits from the gorgimera's stomach, loud in the chamber, and it is impossible not to marvel at Castinus' bargaining power.

Following the passage, the stairway down is obvious. Near the irregular stone staircase is a tablet nailed to the wall with a spike of cold iron. It reads:
