There isn't one specific ability that made me think that. Rather it's the combination of the whole slew of abilities.

I went over it again and noticed the WW Barbarian can't wear any decent armor until Lvl 11. I guess this solves the overpower problem because the character will probably die soon. :)

It's a very weird class, fight like a fighter, track like ranger, climb as thief, immune to fear/berserk, snatch missiles as a monk...but go around naked.


The best barbarian version I have found so far (quite recently in fact) is on OSRIC Unearthed. It only needs a slight tweaking to account for cultural differences.
