I've got a ton of games for my 2009 Mac desktop computer on Steam and GOG too, those are all retro and indie games though and I don't imagine many support multiplayer (and I've never really looked that hard to be honest).

The only game system I ever owned was an Atari 2600, and that wasn't until 1992 when I found one at a consignment shop during summer break. That fall my college roommates and I had fun revisiting our childhood playing Pitfall, River Raid and Kaboom! One of the games we had to reset so often we broke the reset switch. We chucked it at the end of the school year.

Since then I've become addicted to the Age of Empires franchise on several occasions.

Speaking of off topic, would any of you have any interest in trying out D&D 5th edition? I'm interested in running a one-off-game with the new rules. Obviously, I wouldn't do it on this forum.

I'm up for it as long as I don't need to buy rulebooks. I have the preview IIRC so I could potentially use that.

No purchase necessary. This will be 5e on the cheap! Feel free to use one of the pregen characters from the Starter Set. Or, if you're feeling brave, create your own character using the free basic rules (includes the four standard races and classes). Adventure to be determined.

With Golthar dead, Stephan reunited with his family and all of you safely back at Sukiskyn, it's time to award XP. The following awards take into account your respective bonuses based on prime requisites. If you leveled up, I rolled your new hit points, taking into account any adjustments for constitution. The Player character status; adventure log now includes your new hit point totals. Please update your character sheets accordingly.

Athelstan: 6306. Brandon, you forgot to add 1550 from the last time I awarded XP. Your new total should be 14476.

I forgot to mention: The adventure log also lists the treasure you found. Note the obscene amount of treasure from Golthar's lair. As mentioned earlier, much of it most likely came from the ransacked lumber camps and homesteads. There are plenty of people here in Sukiskyn, refugees from other homesteads, who will take an interest in that gold very soon. Admittedly, the amount of gold you're going to get from the sale of the horses pales in comparison to the treasure you have before you.

What you do with the treasure is up to you. Soldath and Tethir, note that Golthar's spell book is here for your perusal.

Pyotr's mother Kuzma, a cleric in her own right, casts two CLW spells on Anja (restoring 9 hp). Pyotr's daughter Irena, a young cleric studying under her grandmother, heals Athelstan (restoring 6 hp). Current hit point totals, including those gained by leveling up, are as follows:

The number listed on Meringered's character sheet: 6,226, was accurate. He started out with 5,001, and was awarded 1,225 on 10/7/13. With the latest award of 6020, his total is now 12,246.
