Day 13, Tserdain, Thaumont 13th, Dymrak Forest, almost midnightYou follow the Redblade goblins through the woods. At times, you need to lead your horses on foot through the brush. Soon you're wet, cold and miserable all over again, and following goblins--willingly--to boot. Fortunately, there is enough moonlight for you to see where you're going.
Two of the goblins are arguing over Athelstan's demand for them to lay down their arms. One of them seems to think it's physically impossible to lower his arms that far without dislocating them. The other is offering to help him find out. The third one slaps them both upside the head, and tells them to shut up.
After a few hours, the goblins stop on the bank of a river. "There," the lead goblin says, pointing across the water.
You see, mounted in the river bank, a crude wooden door, framed by ugly but sturdy wooden beams.
