"Or we kin check t' room out," the dwarf replies with a grunt. "Could be an opportunity o' sorts."

Continue south, I think too... we might risk another encounter with the troll. I counted our steps in each direction, we are near the room we encountered the troll again.

Bror - Dwarf

"Blast!" Bror exclaims out loud as he knocks the poll of his axe against his helm, the dwarven equivalent to a face-palm. Something had been bothering him and now it finally came to him once he had a chance to chew it over in his mind. He turns to face Thurwin. "T' ring from the dead troll, the one yer wearing. Think about this...the dead troll was wearing' it, yes? Well, it were on its hand, severed and with nary a burn to show fer it...unlike the rest t' troll, all burnt it were."

"Now this jump'd up troll we jest ran from...I saw it wearing the same blasted ring on its hand! And t' fire dinnae hurt the ugly bastard at all. I bet ye all t' gold in this 'ere temple that ring makes t' one who wears it resistant to fire."

Calmert is ready to provide healing or combat whichever direction is chosen... as he dusts off his prayer beads.

The party continues south, to Bror's chagrin. He shares the news of the ring as you move on. The passage twists and turns. You come to a door and the passage continues on diagonally...

Thurwin stands back, doing his usual watch our backs routine. He stands ready to cast a spell as needed.

OOC: Hey, that ring from the troll - anyone can take it if they wanted, I was assuming it was magic, but not sure what it would do, so figured since no one stepped up I'd wear it for now. Anyone can claim it, I'm just wearing it...

No sound is heard from the door. A quick check reveals that it is not locked and it opens easily.



The stairs lead down.

Thurwin glances at the stairs descending into darkness and says "I think we should note this stairway for later and continue. I'm not sure going deeper without clearing this level first would be wise. We already have a surly troll behind us somewhere."
