Unfortunately (for us) it appears the work went into a new Cryptworld book instead of this. I have to assume the hope is that it would draw more sales than a rehash of LL. Perhaps, I have no idea, and have no interest personally.

We'll just have to wait until this project gets to the top of the pile...

Hmmm... a choice between putting out new material for a property wholly owned or doing this? I'm pretty sure I'd make the same choice.

If you take a look back in this thread somewhere, around the 4th qtr of 2014, Dan states that his first priority is to get out a Cryptworld supplement, then on to the updated version of a combined Labyrinth Lord. In all fairness, GG is just a little behind in that initial estimate. If you are looking for the hope to spring eternal, just know that if those statements are true, the next project is LL+AEC COMBO! I choose to think that what we crave is on it's way.

Sorry everyone, I am indeed behind. These choices for me are not just about the money. Sure the LL book would probably make more but I had the Cryptworld book in the pipe and needed to get to it. But the main reason for being behind is personal life. Work and family has kept me busy, plus baby #2 is coming at the end of August. The combined book will happen I just better not speculate on when at this point; I don't want to keep disappointing people.

Dan, you brought B/X D&D back to life--along with a version of AD&D I can wrap my head around--and let us run and participate in play-by-post game on your personally hosted forum, all for free. Speaking for no one but myself, you don't owe us a thing!

And congratulations on the upcoming birth of baby #2. That's great news.

Good enough for Milo & Milo! And that means it's good enough for America! Real Life needs to happen, Dan, and don't forget there's a community here to back you up if you want it. 8-)

Oh - I agree and understand, don't get me wrong. Just bummed since I'm interested in one but not the other. :)

Congratulations on the growing family, Dan. Enjoy them while they are young, because they'll be grown and gone far too fast. We'll be here when you get back!

If a Kickstarter for this is ever started, I'm in for the top level.
