I will b e posting daily on my PbP game anyway...joining in on yours would be a nice distraction
What would the options for races be by your setting?
Is there room for something odd...not looking for special stats or the like, I just tend to gravitate to the odd choices.
1/2 ogre raised by forest elves...never met another ogre or 1/2 ogre, only elves and half elves (would fit with other party members)?
A big simple guy, honor bound to the elves, perhaps on a mission for the elven elders...a big guy that seeks to find his place in the world...an artisan perhaps...
No worries if not...just a thought.

A few questions as I consider character choices...
+ Are we using the "race" stat adjustments?
+ Are we using the "age" stat adjustments?
+ Perhaps I missed it in the 'Gamer Gathering' thread, but what is the starting gold/equipment?
+ You said we're using the option Hit Die rule, correct?

Race stat adj - yes.
Age stat adj - no
Just roll for starting gold as per normal. Honor system here. I'll give some items out (non-magic) to each person as well.
Yes - optional HD rule. And start with Max HP for first lv (don't forget to add the CON bonus, if you have it.)
