Attempt at a PocketMod character sheet

Postby Dyson Logos » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:31 pm

I have a love for PocketMods. 8-page folders made from a single page of standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper.

So, I tried my hand at a PocketMod character sheet.

The kick in the pants is that I built this prior to my computer crash, so I've lost all the source files. So if I want to modify it at all, I'm looking at starting from scratch. :(

It looks kind of fuggly here, but once folded it turns into a booklet 1/8 the size of the sheet of paper.

I made myself a PocketMod character sheet a few years ago, but of course it didn't look anywhere near as good as this one. We're playing the first game with a new DM and new characters today, so I'm going to use this. Thanks yet again Dyson.

Damn you, Dyson...just once i'd like to see you offer something ugly for a change. All these top-notch, great looking stuff you keep offering is getting predictable in terms of high quality and sheer awesomeness. I mean, why not offer something ugly or useless for a change...you know, just to mix it up ;) Seriously, absolutely great looking and useful to boot (as always). You, my friend, are the man!

Hmmm... I'm suddenly considering grabbing a sharpie and trying to make a ten minute character sheet.

Or a map of my apartment.

The problem is, I guess, that even my "failures" look alright - because the ones that don't I just throw out.

Well, okay...as long as it's an ugly map of your apartment.
:P

Seriously, may I ask what font you used on the char. sheet? It's very nice.

That's a bugger because I noticed while using it today that AC 9 is missing and instead AC 8 is written twice. Being so small most folks probably won't see it. Anyway, it was a hit with my gaming group.

If I recall correctly, Dyson mentioned elsewhere that the font is Satan's Minions.

Same font as is used prominently in Palladium Fantasy, if I'm not mistaken.

Argh!

I might be able to fix that in Photoshop at some point.

And yes, it is Satan's Minions, a clone of the classic font used by Palladium and Judge's Guild back in the day.

Nice!

I tried a PocketMod sheet once but was unhappy with the results. This is much, much nicer than my attempt.
