Dieter gets back to studying. I hope there are no more guard rounds tonight.

Furuk continues on with the 1st watch for the night. When the next watch starts he’ll try to get some sleep.

Anadrea

Will continue with her watch. And when that gets over crumple up in a corner to get some zzzzs as she is down a few hps. "This place is crawling with vermin and needs a cleansing" she says as she wipes her blade clean yet again on a cultist's robe

You sleep though the night without any more guards. When you wake up, the flickering is gone and there is a dull light filtering in from the Eyes of the Skull: the sun has risen and the day is upon you. The air is cold as are the corpses on the ground in the cave with you. They have nothing on them but maces and leather armor. Perhaps a raiding party that came home.

You go through your morning routine and the spellcasters among you memorize your spells.

Although you've slept soundly, your wounds still ache and your bodies are yet worn from a hard day's (night's?) work.

Anadrea

"Well, no time like present gents, let's get a move on. I care not to hang out with corpses.."

Takes up her position in rear of march order. Suggests we try another passage off statue room.

Dandy Dwarf Cleric, bellows loud enough to wake his companions, but not loud enough to alert the mountain... "Aye Lass! I agree with ye! Let's get ta movin'an a cleansin!", as he readies his gear.

Furuk gathers his gear and prepares for the long day ahead. When everyone is ready he will proceed with the group back to the statue room.

When you get to the statue room, which is dark but for light filtering in from the Skull's mouth, you notice a curious thing: the bodies that were there are now gone. Someone or some thing had removed them in the night. You search the dirty ground but spy no signs of dragging, so they either were picked up or simply vanished. The stains of their blood still mark the floor.

You hear nothing and see nothing else.

Hmmm... curious. I guess we take the hallway we did not try earlier.

This wide hallway has two large kettle drums along each side of it. There is a pair of stone double doors at the far end.

The room is fairly dark with dim light filtering in from the mouth of the Skull behind you.
