Being skeptical of the pages turning by themselves in the first place, throws his hammer at the imp-looking thing immediately upon it attacking Dieter! :x

CueOne

CueOne has already attacked. Now the party responds.

Dieter fires magic missile (x2) (dmg d6+1, d6+1, 1+1+3+1=6) which leave scorch marks on the daemon.

Castinus fires double arrows (d20, 10, MISS, d20, 4, MISS) but both shots fly wide.

Dandy throws his mighty hammer (d20, 7, MISS) but also cannot connect.

Grimes stabs at it with his sword (d20, 13, HIT, dmg d6+3, 2+3=5) and gets a piece.

Furuk swings his sword at it as he heads to the stairs (d20, 10, HIT, dmg d8+3, 4+3=7) and glowing green ichor spurts from the wound.

Next round might be fun!

With a grunt Castinus looses another pair of arrows at the creature. Arrow deducted.

He hacks at the air with his sword and screams profanities!

Dandy backs up against a wall fearful of the unseen and any "tricks" something like this may have in store! He ponders what Wizard may keep such a companion, or if it is just a coincidence they've come across such a denizen... though he fears it's the former.

As he backs up against a wall, he's ready to throw (or strike!) his hammer once again.

CueOne 2

INITIATIVE CueOne d6, 5; party d6, 1 baddies (plural?) have initiative

CueOne doesn't like the way this battle is progressing. He scrunches into a fetal position and sends out a Blast of Fear, hoping to make everyone run away.
Saving throws:
Grimes (no need, as he has the Shield of Tchar)
Furuk - save vs Spells, d20, 2, FAIL
Dieter - save vs Spells, d20, 16, SUCCESS
Dandy - save vs Spells, d20, 16, SUCCESS
Castinus - save vs Spells, d20, 3, FAIL
Shae - save vs Spells, d20, 4, FAIL

Grimes, Dieter and Dandy resist the Fear Blast but Furuk, Castinus, and Shae are all affected. They all attempt to flee.

Meanwhile, Furuk's taunting has brought someone out of the area south. Another Ogre Mage appears suddenly (he was invisible) and sprays a Cone of Cold. The cold blast (dmg 8d6, 6+3+6+5+4+4+1+6=35) hits Furuk (save vs. Wands, d20, 19, success, half damage) and the frightened half-orc is shivering but alive.

The party responds.

Dieter stabs with his dagger (actually, since the daemon has engaged him, it is hand to hand) (d20, 19, HIT, dmg d4+2, 4+2) and strikes a killing blow at the quaist. CueOne is dead. The Ogre Mage who came out is immediately affected. He coughs twice, and black blood spews from his mouth.

Grimes swings his sword, adjusting to attack the Ogre mage rather than the dead daemon. (d20, 19, HIT, dmg d6+3, 6+3=9) That got his attention. The ogre mage eyes the halfling.

Dandy (who kind of chose to wait and see) throws his hammer at the ogre mage (d20, 14, HIT, dmg d8+2x2, 3+2x2=10) and crushes his skull. The ogre mage falls dead.

Both foes are dead, but three of your party is terrified (magically) and are fleeing. Furuk is hurt. And as you take your breather, you hear from the doorway you entered NOOOOOOOO!!!!! CueTwo will avenge! (you didn't think that CueOne was the only one, did you?) as another daemon enters the picture. This blocks the doorway so the frightened party members are forced to flee within the confines of the room you're in. You cannot see this new one but he is surely there, as you can hear him.
